Efficiency through coatings for fluid flow

Corrosion, erosion, abrasion and chemical attack of metallic process equipment is a challenge that costs industry billions per year.

ARC Efficiency and Protective coatings corrosion/wear-resistant coatings are at the forefront of Polymer innovation in preventing the issues outlined above. In addition there is a growing awareness of the benefits of ARC in improving Efficiency in fluid flow applications.

This can be attributed to ARCs

  •  Low surface energy (low drag) versus metals and competitive products. This allows media to move more easily over the ARC coated surface.
  • Eliminates the corrosion/erosion cycle helping to maintain equipment dimensions thus preventing turbulent flow and maintaining laminar flow.

These advanced reinforced coatings can improve process efficiencies, lead to energy savings and reduction of emissions.

In addition these cost-effective coatings can save money by increasing equipment lifetime and by allowing for substitution of expensive materials such as super duplex, with less-expensive substrate and coating combinations.
